Click-to-Messages will be powered by message extensions to current Google Adword Ads. Message extensions give businesses the capability to receive text messages from potential clients with preset auto texts. (Example: “Hi, I am interested in learning more about the SEO services your provide. Thanks.”) Depending on the business customer service hours, clients can receive a response to their request sooner than if they were to call and leave a voicemail at the business establishment.
Click-to-Messages are amazing and extremely beneficial. First of all, statistically, 80% of Americans text daily, exchanging 2x as many texts as calls. The response rate for a text message is 45% higher than an email, with an average response time of 90 seconds vs. 90 minutes. If that wasn’t enough, the closing rate for clients that have their questions/ requests answered in a fast & efficient manner, is 41% higher than when directed to email and responded to at a later date. With that being said, clients benefit by having a bigger exposure and larger outreach all with no additional Adword Costs (mobile carrier text rates apply.)
